BARTON-ON-THE-HEARTH PARISH COUNCIL MINUTES

OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

HELD ON FRIDAY 22^ND, APRIL 2005 AT 7:00P.M.

Present Councillors: Brigadier Rickett (Chairman), Lt Col Henderson (Vice

Chairman), Mrs. Cathie, Councillor Saint (County Councillor),

Captain Castlo RN (Hon Treasurer), Mr. Shipton (Internal Auditor).

Members of the Public: Mr. Poulsom, Mr. Grimshaw, Mr. and Mrs.

Hughes-Hallett, Mrs. Henderson.

1. Apologies: Mrs. Pelczynski, Mrs. Hayman-Joyce

2. Minutes: of the AGM held on 22^nd April, 2004 were read, approved, and signed.

There were no matters arising.

3. The Accounts for the year ending 22^nd April, 2005 were read by Captain Castle

and were approved and signed.

4. The Chairman’s Report 2004/2005 was read by Brigadier Rickett (copies

attached to these minutes).

5. Expenses by Officers 2004/2005. As these were not fully to hand at the time of

the meeting, the Hon Treasurer agreed to circulate these to Councillors later.

6. Election of a Chairman 2005/2006

Brigadier Rickett was elected and accepted.

7. Election of a Vice-Chairman 2005/2006

Lt Col Henderson was elected and accepted.

8. Appointment of a Clerk 2005/2006 - Mrs. Doreen Richardson was elected and

accepted.

Appointment of a Treasurer 2005/2006 - Captain John Castle was elected and

accepted.

Appointment of an Internal Auditor 2005/2006 – Mr. John Shipton was elected

and accepted.
