OF AN ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
HELD ON FRIDAY 20th APRIL 2007 AT 7.00 PM
IN THE OLD PAROCHIAL CHURCH SCHOOL

The Chairman opened the meeting at 7pm.
2. Minutes of the Extraordinary General Meeting of 24th December 2006
The minutes of this meeting were agreed and signed by the Chairman, witnessed by the Vice Chairman.
3. Planning Matters
Planning Application 07/00823/FUL Construction of Stable Yard.
Mr & Mrs Simon Hood, North Lodge
Lt Colonel Henderson stated that he had looked at the site. After a short discussion about the colour of
the roof the Council approved the application.
4. Best Kept Village Competition
The Chairman will shortly be issuing the task list. RV for Village Clean Up Day on the village green for those tasks not completed is at 10.00hrs on Saturday 26th May. Mr John Shipton agreed to take on the responsibility of the Churchyard as this was a separate Competition, although its cleanliness and general tidiness would be subsumed in the overall judging of the Best Kept Village Competition.
5. Any Other Business
a. Mr & Mrs Seymour-Smith gave an interesting presentation on their plans for the conversion of a derelict barn at the top of the hill on the Little Compton road. If plans for this were approved it would prove to be the first “Eco friendly project” in the country.
b. Date of the next meeting is Friday 15th June at 7.00pm.
This will be chaired by the Vice Chairman as the Chairman will be otherwise engaged.
c. The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.25pm.
