MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
HELD ON FRIDAY 18th APRIL 2008 AFTER THE
ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING
IN THE OLD PAROCHIAL CHURCH SCHOOL
Present: Councillors: Brigadier J F Rickett (Chairman), Lt Col J B Henderson (Vice Chairman) Councillors Mrs Pelczynski, Mrs Cathie,
Captain Castle RN (Hon Treasurer).

1. The Minutes of the AGM held on 20th April 2007
These were read and signed. There were no matters arising.
2. The Accounts for the year ending 5th April 2008
These were passed unanimously (copy attached). The Chairman congratulated
Captain Castle and thanked him most warmly for the immense amount of hard
work he had put in.
3. The Chairman’s Report 2007 – 2008
The Chairman duly gave his report (copy attached)
4. Council Officers’ Expenses 2007 – 2008
These were agreed (copy attached)
5. Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2008 -2009
Brigadier Rickett and Lt Col Henderson were duly proposed and seconded.
6. a. Appointment of the Clerk 2008 – 2009
Mrs Jayne Hanks agreed to continue.
b. Appointment of the Treasurer 2008 – 2009
Captain John Castle agreed to continue.
c. Appointment of the Internal Auditor 2008 -2009
Mr Shipton agreed to continue.
